Listen to Journalism graduate Chris in this alumni vlog about his career as the youngest senior journalist at the BBC

BA (Hons) Journalism graduate Chris was able to launch a successful career in journalism and is now a senior journalist at BBC News.

Spending his time as a child commentating on computer games, Chris always knew he wanted to be a journalist. Undertaking the BA (Hons) Journalism degree at Lincoln, he was able to take his passion for sports journalism further, starting a sports show on the University’s on-campus community radio station, Siren FM. He believes the course gave him the skills he needed to succeed in a newsroom. Upon graduating in 2015, he was one of only six young UK journalists to have completed a coveted industry placement with BBC Sport. Since then he has gone from strength to strength, working on some of the biggest news stories over the last few years such as the Manchester Arena and London Bridge attacks, and has recently been promoted to a Senior Journalist position at BBC News. g. Chris credits the facilities and staff at Lincoln for making him the journalist he is today.
